Hi, I’m Janice Guarini, founder of REST Renew Sleep Time, LLC and I am excited to be a part of the Orchard Hill Chiropractic practitioners offer healing support to prenatal moms, newborns, postpartum moms, children and families.

As a mother of my own 3 adult children and a Certified Postpartum Doula with Craniosacral Fascial Therapy /CFT training, I am passionate about babies, moms and families entire well being!

What is CFT? Craniosacral Fascial Therapy/CFT techniques are designed to gently unwind and release accumulated fascial strain. This allows optimal mobility and better brain function. When the Cranial Fascial System is loose and open there is a free flow of cerebrospinal fluid to help nourish and cleanse toxins. Unhindered movement of the brain, spinal cord, and the fascial web is necessary for the well-being of all newborns, children and adults.

I have been caring for newborns, infants, toddlers and adolescent children for over 10 years with CFT. Tongue/Oral Ties, Colic, Reflux, Torticollis, Speech, Sleep Disturbance are just a few difficulties overcome with the support of CFT. The CFT Web can be an advantage in having 2 CFT practitioners working with one client at the same time. It is a joy and privilege to follow each person’s unique plan to find freedom from fascial restrictions.

My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can safely release anything that is holding you back from wholeness in mind, body, and spirit. I address the body as an interconnected tapestry. Each individual is unique and is approached with the utmost respect and care as I utilize craniosacral fascial therapy techniques.

Bio

For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep fascination with the holistic approach to health. After taking an anatomy and physiology class in college, it was confirmation that I needed to pursue something in the arena of health and wellness with a holistic approach. In 2005, I trained at Cortiva - Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy. I consider this year of study to be one of the most prolific and impactful years of my life. Since embarking on my holistic health journey and receiving training, I have maintained a private practice, while also sharing and expanding my skill set and knowledge at the Gorman Chiropractic & Holistic Health Center. My education is ever evolving in the realm of fascia and massage. I am also certified in Manual Lymphatic drainage and Prenatal massage. Brianna Hampson M.S., CCC-SLP is a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP) with over 10 years of experience. She has a bachelors and masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology with specialized training in Orofacial Myology and Pediatric Feeding. Throughout her career, she has developed a specialization in working with children with multiple disabilities and specialized needs. Her expertise in this area enables her to provide tailored therapy and support, enhancing the communication abilities of each child regardless of their background. She understands that effective therapy extends beyond just speech and language skills. By considering the whole child, including their verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as their nutrition and oral musculature for functional feeding and swallowing, she ensures comprehensive care for her clients. With a deep understanding of holistic health and nutrition, she guides families in making healthier choices. Meet Dr. Leslie:

Family is the heart and home of our community. I believe in supporting a woman’s innate right to make informed healthcare choices for her own family. By creating a safe community of empowered parents, I support and encourage a mother’s inner guidance. It truly lights up my life to see mothers feel the loving and gentle care of chiropractic that strengthens the individual, the family and others around them.

My background:

Mom of 3, I’ve navigated many of the same challenges that new parents and parents-to-be face. From the common cold to cancer, I have experienced many of life’s ups and downs when it comes to caring for family.

During my own pregnancies, I received chiropractic care to ease everything from rib pain & headaches to low back pain due to my growing/changing body. When my daughter presented in a breech position at 36 weeks, I needed help to balance my pelvis (via the Webster Technique) which allowed me to avoid a surgical birth!

Not only have I experienced many of pregnancy’s (and postpartum) challenges, I also understand the financial, emotional and social concerns that families can face as children grow.

I have dedicated my postgraduate studies to focusing on pediatrics and pregnancy, so I am always learning and reviewing new therapies available to families. I have relationships with many types of local birth and postpartum practitioners to support the whole family.
